To practice as a dental hygienist in Belgium, you must obtain a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. This three-year program is offered by several higher education institutions (HELB Prigogine, HEPL, Arteveldehogeschool, UCLL).
After obtaining your diploma, you must register with the Federal Public Service (FPS) Public Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment to obtain authorization to practice.
